A hands-on leader, Matt is often found working in the thick of it alongside his team, ensuring the company's operations run smoothly and efficiently. His dedication and practical approach continue to drive the business forward. Outside of work, Matt enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his family and three dogs.

Faye joined us in 2015, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. As our company secretary, she plays a key role in managing all things financial and is a vital part of our senior management team. Outside of work, Faye enjoys playing netball, spending time with her family, and soaking up the sun on holidays abroad

Transport Manager

Sophie has taken on a vital and demanding role within the family business, expertly managing our transport fleet. She plays a key part in ensuring we remain FORS compliant, dedicating substantial effort to meeting these high standards. With no two days the same, Sophie’s expertise, knowledge, and experience allow her to tackle any challenge that comes her way, keeping our operations running smoothly. When she’s not working, Sophie enjoys spending quality time with friends & riding horses.

Helen joined AEG (York) Ltd in 2016 and has been a key part of the team ever since. With a strong background in sales and accounts, she brings a wealth of expertise and a sharp eye for detail to the business. While married to our MD, Matt Scott, Helen stands firmly on her own feet, known for her hardworking nature and dedication. Outside of work, she’s an avid horse rider and enjoys socialising with friends. She also has a competitive streak, regularly taking part in CrossFit events—so whether in the office or at the gym, she’s always pushing to be the best.

Lee Edwards

HGV driver & Head of Logistics

When it comes to moving machinery, Lee is the man to get the job done. As a highly experienced transport planner and STGO Cat 2 driver, he specialises in handling abnormal loads, ensuring even the largest and heaviest equipment reaches its destination safely and on time. It’s not just a job for Lee—he treats every machine and movement as if it were his own, giving customers total peace of mind that their equipment is in the safest hands.
